The Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary and Jeremiah’s Place fundraiser moving sale continues Sunday, July 26, at 128 Fern Park Dr, Dawsonville. All the proceeds will be split 50-50 between the two organizations. Hundreds of original photos by award winning photographer Lamar Bates, antiques, clothing, wine cabinet, shelves, office supplies, oak table, chairs and much more.Come see the treasures…and make an offer.

Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary member Diane Bates and her husband Lamar are hosting a 'Make an Offer' moving sale Friday, July 24, from 10 to 3. at 128 Fern Park Dr., Dawsonville. All proceeds go to the Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Foundation and Jeremiah's Place – North Georgia Interfaith Ministries, Inc.Dozens of Lamar's framed photographs, original art work and prints are part of the sale. You'll also find a lawn mower, power tools, some furniture, and much more. Hope to see you there!

What an incredible year of giving back! The Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Foundation would like to thank our generous sponsors, participants, and community supporters for making the New Year’s Eve Prom King & Queen Competition such a success. Because of your support, 100% of the funds raised through this competition went directly to graduating seniors in our community.We are proud to celebrate five deserving winners as they begin their next chapter at 4-year colleges, universities, and technical schools. A special thank you to our winners, Judy Wheeler and Robert Kahn, for showing up in a big way for our local students!In total this year, the DSR Foundation 501(c)(3) gave back more than $120,000 to our community through various programs like the scholarship program, The Monthly Fix and R3 Day from proceeds from the New Year’s Eve Prom and the Wimpy Mile — thanks to the continued generosity of Lumpkin County!Thank you, Lumpkin County, for an amazing year of supporting local students and strengthening our community!
